External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.Your Role:At MilliporeSigma, the Maintenance Technician 1 at Bellefonte, PA site will maintain a safe and effective workplace for all employees and guests. Job duties include:Execute routine maintenance on production equipment, ensuring optimal operational efficiencyActively participate in process improvement initiatives and capital projects to enhance production capabilitiesDiagnose and resolve technical issues with diverse machine equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.Provide occasional on-call support to address urgent equipment or process-related issues outside of standard work hoursDemonstrate the ability to manage and prioritize a variety of tasks effectively, adapting to changing production demandsPhysical capabilities:Lifting up to 70 lbs.Who You Are:Minimum Qualifications:High School diploma or GED2+ years of experience in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.Preferred Qualifications:Ability to work independently.Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical controls, including PLC's.Experience troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic controls.Ability to read and understand drawings and P&ID's.Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.Pay Range for this position: $24.00 - $37.00The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
