Senior Operations Manager Kenosha, WI (On-site) Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible) Travel: Approximately 30% Compensation: $100,000-$125,000 base salary + performance-based bonus About the Opportunity A leading global supply chain and logistics organization is searching for a Senior Operations Manager to oversee operations in a dynamic distribution and transportation environment. Key Responsibilities Lead distribution, packaging, warehousing, and transportation operations to meet business goals and exceed customer expectations. Devise and implement both short-term and long-term operational strategies. Ensure operational efficiency, service quality, and profitability throughout the operation. Drive continuous improvement initiatives targeted at enhancing productivity, value, service, and reducing costs. Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and government regulations. Manage operational budgets and oversee P&L performance. Develop comprehensive staffing plans while effectively managing labor costs, overtime, and retention strategies. Foster a robust safety culture to safeguard associates, equipment, and facilities. Analyze operational performance metrics to pinpoint root causes and implement corrective actions. Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly operational reports. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams. Cultivate a high-performance culture centered around accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence. Qualifications Required Experience & Skills Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a high-volume 3PL, warehousing, distribution, or transportation environment. Extensive experience in P&L management. Demonstrated experience supporting high-volume e-commerce operations. Strong operational background in both inbound and outbound logistics. Proven leadership and critical thinking skills, with exceptional problem‑solving abilities. Effective communication skills across diverse teams and leadership levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WMS platforms, databases, and operational reporting tools. Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies is preferred. Excellent organizational and talent development skills. Experience with ADP platforms, including Workforce Now and Workforce Manager, is a plus. Willingness to adapt to meet operational business needs. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in a 3PL environment is highly preferred. Why Join Us?
