Vmware Engineer

VMware Infrastructure EngineerInsight Global is seeking a VMware Infrastructure Engineer for a top enterprise client supporting a critical infrastructure modernization initiative. This engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying a new VMware 9.1 environment leveraging a modern 3-tier architecture. The ideal candidate has deep VMware expertise, strong storage and server infrastructure knowledge, and a proven track record of building environments from the ground up rather than simply maintaining existing systems. This individual will partner closely with a highly technical team to rebuild infrastructure using modern best practices and Infrastructure as Code methodologies, utilizing tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Packer. This opportunity is ideal for an engineer who enjoys greenfield deployments, infrastructure automation, and enterprise-scale virtualization projects. This is a 4-8 month contract and pays $55-$65/hr.
