Job Description:


- Position Type: Travel Nurse
- Location: Acute Care Facility
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift Details:
- Mid: 5x8-Hour (14:00 - 22:00)
- Day: 5x8-Hour (11:00 - 19:00)
- Flexible schedule required due to varied start times (0600 - 0830)
- Expected to stay and complete the shift in PACU
- Outpatient surgery assignments do not have shift relief

- Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred

- Certifications Required:
- ACLS
- BLS
- CCRN (preferred)
- PALS
- CPAN (preferred)

- Skills Needed:
- Proficient in the care of ventilated patients
- Experience with various surgical and procedural specialties including:
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair
- Carotid Endarterectomy
- General, Ortho, Neuro, and Vascular surgeries
- Robotics
- Phase I and II PACU recovery

- Unit Details:
- Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
- Daily Census: 25-30 patients
- Number of Beds: 9
- Interdisciplinary support available: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, Pharmacy, etc.


- Travel Requirements:
- Must float to ASC, HH, & PVH as needed
- Call required: One call shift per week
- Must be flexible and commit to working weekends when needed
