Job Overview Assistant General Manager at Taco Bell, Tucson, AZ. You are applying for a position with a franchisee or licensee of Taco Bell, not Taco Bell Corp. Franchisees and licensees are independent business organizations; they will be your employer if hired, and are responsible for their own employment practices. Annual salary $50,000 - $60,000. Position is considered non-exempt; compensation will vary based on hours worked. Expect to work approximately 45 hours per week, averaging 40 hours straight time and 5 overtime hours. Quarterly performance-based bonus up to $4,000 per year. Paid vacation, company‑paid life and accidental death insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability insurance, paid tenure bonus. Key Responsibilities Support the Restaurant Manager by running great shifts and executing all restaurant administrative duties. In the absence of the Restaurant Manager, provide the leadership necessary to maintain acceptable day‑to‑day operations. Operate the entire restaurant and build a strong team that consistently provides customers great food and a friendly experience. Find, hire, and develop employees; conduct new‑hire orientation and develop training plans. Schedule and deploy the team correctly; address performance issues; assist in resolving customer issues. Manage the restaurant budget and financial plans. Job Requirements & Essential Functions High School Diploma or GED; college or university degree preferred. 2‑4 years supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment, including profit and loss responsibility. Strong interpersonal skills, leadership, active listening, coaching, planning and organization, communication, and motivation. Must pass background check criteria. Basic personal computer literacy. Reliable transportation. Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision‑making skills. Must tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping during ~80% of shift time. Work 5, 9‑hour shifts 5 days a week, total 45 hours a week.
