Pharmacy Tech - Medication History Specialist

Responsibilities Provides technical assistance in the documentation and clarification of medication history lists under the direction of a pharmacist. Processes, enters, and interprets medication histories obtained from a variety of sources. Completes full history documentation in a computerized system. Clarifies information through communication with providers, patients, and pharmacies. Performs special projects for the department. Works with multiple medication automation systems. Demonstrates excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Employs strong time‑management and organizational skills. Works independently, makes quality, independent decisions, and solves problems analytically. Manages high volumes under tight deadlines with multiple interruptions. Maintains the strictest levels of confidentiality and listens to others. Is competent in the use of a variety of computer hardware and software systems. Qualifications Pharmacy Intern – Board of Registration in Pharmacy (Massachusetts) or Pharmacy Technician – Board of Registration in Pharmacy (Massachusetts). Compensation $25.61 - $34.47 per hour.
