Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Brooklyn, NY

A retail pharmacy setting in Newark, New Jersey, is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality support to pharmacists and exceptional service to customers during weekdays.

Schedule & Location:

Location: Newark, New Jersey
Shifts: 1st Shift (Monday to Friday)
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Assignment Duration: May 18th, May 22nd, May 27-29th, June 1-5

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the computer system.
Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescription orders efficiently.
Manage and order over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain sufficient stock levels.
Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing customer needs and concerns.
Work with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues, ensuring smooth prescription processing.

Desired Qualifications:

Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey.
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred to enhance customer communication.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
