Machine Operator Location: Hellertown, PA Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour Environment: Fast-paced, hot, humid, dusty, and dirty About Us The Bug Company is a leading feeder insect supplier. We raise and ship live insects for the pet industry. Position Summary The Machine Operator is a team memberwho is responsible for preparing and operating our machines with a strong emphasis onaccuracy, safety, and consistent execution. This hands‑on role is responsible for operating insect packaging equipment, caring for live insects, performing line work, and ensuring product quality standards are consistently met. Key Responsibilities Operate production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently Troubleshoot equipment and identify root causes of operational issues Perform line work duties associated with machine operations Provide care for live insects throughout the production process Ensure compliance with insect quality standards Prepare boxes, materials, and production supplies Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Perform all duties with accuracy, care, and efficiency Follow established production procedures and company policies Work independently and as part of a team Communicate professionally with team members and leadership Perform other duties as assigned by management Safety‑Focused Work Environment Safety is atop priorityin this role.
