Programmer Analyst 2 Location: 7093 Broad Neck Road, Hanover, VA (Onsite) Contract type: Full-time, Contract Compensation: $85K-90K per year with benefits Citizenship/Residency: US Citizenship or Green card holder / Must be local to Hanover, VA area Responsibilities Candidate will be part of the modernization of a flagship cloud‑hosted (OCI) application BADGE, moving it from a desktop version to a web‑based version. The role requires understanding the existing desktop code, migrating it to a web application, working closely with lead developers, taking ownership of a given module, and providing guidance to other contractors. Qualifications Expert knowledge of systems development and design using Visual Studio .Net Expert knowledge in developing ASP.Net, Web Services and Web applications in .Net Expert knowledge of .Net technologies (Visual Basic, C#, .Net Framework) Experience working in MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery Unobtrusive Validation, HTML, and CSS Experience with WinForms / WPF Forms Experience with TFS / GIT Source Control Experience with RDBMS and writing complex SQL queries Experience with Oracle and PL/SQL preferred Experience in Angular/React desired Equal Opportunity Employer YSI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
