Behavioral Health Therapist II The Behavioral Health Therapist II is responsible for assessing and treating patients through evaluation, individual, group, and family counseling. It includes providing psycho‑educational lectures, crisis intervention, case management services, and treatment and discharge planning. The role involves direct care to patients and families as appropriate to the patient’s age, completing associated indirect or documentation responsibilities, and maintaining timely documentation of services provided in accordance with licensure and MLH requirements. As a BHT II, you will work with either an adult or adolescent mental health patient population. Responsibilities Assess and treat patients through evaluation, individual, group, and family counseling. Provide psycho‑educational lectures, crisis intervention, case management services, treatment and discharge planning. Complete indirect or documentation responsibilities and maintain timely documentation of services per licensure and MLH requirements. Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience at a graduate‑level supervised internship or practicum in a mental health setting and at least 2 years of post‑graduate experience. Master's or Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or Master's in Social Work. Pennsylvania Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Counselor.
