Job Description Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required. This full-time contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a school setting, providing essential occupational therapy services to students. Key Responsibilities: Work under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists to provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs (Individualized Education Programs). Implement individualized treatment plans and interventions to address students' fine motor, sensory, and developmental needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' functional skills and academic success. Assist in the assessment and documentation of student progress, including writing progress reports and maintaining accurate records. Provide training and support to school staff and families on strategies to promote independence and participation in daily activities. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and objectives for students receiving occupational therapy services. Qualifications: Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in New Mexico.
