About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for its Behavioral Health Hospital, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based care in a center of excellence for behavioral health. The CMO will be responsible for the clinical leadership of the hospital, ensuring the quality, efficiency, and management of patient care services. This includes defining and implementing medical and clinical care protocols, providing strategic direction for all medical services, and overseeing patient safety and quality improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will also be involved in medical staff oversight and development, operational and strategic leadership, and will be a key liaison between the medical staff, hospital administration, and the company's leadership. Applicants for the CMO position must have a Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution, be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Massachusetts, and be board certified in Psychiatry or a relevant behavioral health specialty. A minimum of 10 years of clinical experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a behavioral health setting, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of behavioral health regulations, quality improvement methodologies, and risk management strategies, and experience in an academic medical center or teaching hospital is highly desirable. The CMO will also be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, leading risk management efforts, and fostering a culture of clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuous improvement.
