About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Research & Development to spearhead the definition and execution of the strategy for new product development and commercialization. This executive will play a pivotal role in ensuring that R&D initiatives are in line with business objectives, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality products that meet performance, timeline, and cost targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team of scientists and engineers, establishing a robust R&D structure, culture, and processes that foster both short-term execution and long-term growth. A key aspect of the role is maintaining a strong external orientation to stay abreast of customer needs, emerging technologies, and industry trends. The ideal candidate for this position at the company will have a strong technical foundation, at least 15 years' experience in research, development, or related technical roles, and a proven track record of leading cross-functional product development in complex environments. A bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline is required, with an advanced degree being preferred. Expertise in the research and development of chromatography products is essential. The role demands a collaborative, results-oriented leader who can build trust, navigate change, and consistently deliver impact. Experience in global and highly regulated or technical environments is also preferred, with a background in chromatography being a significant advantage.
