Job SummaryBaptist MD Anderson Cancer Center seeks a Thoracic Surgeon with expertise in all aspects of general thoracic surgery to join our practice within the Section of Thoracic Surgery. Surgeons at all levels of experience are encouraged to apply. Contribution to program growth, multidisciplinary clinical leadership, and the academic development of a high-volume cancer program are necessary. Leadership opportunities are available for mid-career applicants.This faculty position includes the broad practice of general thoracic surgery and thoracic surgical oncology, including all aspects of esophageal disease, both benign and malignant, lung, chest wall and mediastinum. Candidates should have substantial experience in minimally invasive approaches to surgery, including robotic surgery. Strong commitment to multidisciplinary cancer care, clinical outcomes, research and education are desired.
