Duval Pharmacy, a well-established and locally owned pharmacy, is seeking a highly motivated and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our team. The Pharmacist will review and accurately fill prescriptions, counsel patients on medications, provide immunizations and travel vaccines, and perform MTM reviews. Responsibilities
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions
- Dispense medications accurately and safely
- Counsel patients on dosage, side effects, storage, and drug interactions
- Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records
- Monitor inventory and ensure proper handling and storage
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant pharmacy environment
- Contribute ideas for growth and innovation. We welcome an entrepreneurial spirit!
- Help drive clinical services such as immunizations, medication therapy management, and health screenings
- Current and active Florida state Pharmacist license
- Immunization certification is required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- 2 years of retail/independent pharmacy experience preferred (New grads welcome to apply)
