Home Health Aide

Our spectrum of home-based services now includes Skilled Home Health Care, Palliative Care, Adult Hospice Care and Pediatric Care. We are currently seeking a full time Home Health Aide to provide personal care services to our home health patients. The HHA will provides personal care services to patient and performs related tasks in the patient/family home in accordance with the plan of treatment as assigned by the Nurse/Case Manager and in compliance with organization policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations.

Schedule:

Part-time; 3 days per week; Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm

Location:

San Francisco & Marin Counties **MUST HAVE HHA LICENSE**

By the Bay Health follows all CDPH vaccine requirements for healthcare personnel.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Assist patient in bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair as needed
• Assist patient in and out of bed and with ambulation
• Turn patient in bed, position for comfort, and change bed linen
• Assist with prescribed exercises as directed
• Prepare meals and assist with eating if meals needed during assigned visit time

Education/Experience:

• Completion of an approved Home Health Aide training program
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Completion of an approved Home Health Aide (HHA) training program. HOME CARE AIDE (HCA) CERTIFICATION IS NOT ACCEPTED.
• Current California Driver's License and automobile insurance that meets State of California requirements, if driving a car.

Pay Range:
$26.30 - $31.00 hourly
