Warehouse Equipment Operator

Our client, a leading national distribution and logistics company, is seeking experienced Warehouse Equipment Operators for a contract assignment at its Sayreville, NJ distribution facility. This position focuses on operating powered industrial equipment to support receiving, storage, and order fulfillment operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Raymond Reach Trucks, counterbalance forklifts, double blade pallet jacks, and cherry pickers
• Perform put-away, replenishment, and picking operations in a high-volume warehouse environment
• Use RF scanners and I-Warehouse systems to track inventory and complete transactions
• Safely transport and stage palletized product throughout the facility
• Follow all safety procedures, equipment inspection protocols, and quality standards

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of Raymond Reach Truck operation experience
• Minimum 1 year of RF scanner experience
• Experience operating I-Warehouse machines
• Experience with counterbalance forklifts, double blade pallet jacks, and cherry pickers
• General warehouse experience
• Ability to work overnight shifts and extended hours when required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a high-volume distribution or logistics environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

About the Role:

Location: Sayreville, NJ (on-site; no travel required)

Schedule: 3rd shift, 8:00 pm - 5:30 am, Sunday - Thursday. Shifts may extend up to 12 hours based on business needs. Schedules are subject to change with business demands. Mandatory six-day work week the first week of each month. Overtime may be required.

Hours: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Contract Duration: Approximately 26 weeks (1,040 total hours), with potential extension based on business needs
