Cafe Associate

Position Summary Sam’s Club #6428, 2950 Horseblock Rd, Medford, NY 11763-2525 Responsibilities Team Member : Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams; educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with teammates; and be flexible to the needs of the business, including working in other areas. Expert : Prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety, sanitation, cold‑chain, and inventory standards; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; and demonstrate product and layout execution. Techie : Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology for production decisions, ordering, receiving club pick‑up orders, training, and product quality. Owner : Drive area performance; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality, date‑control, and waste reduction; provide member service; assist members with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving member concerns. Talent Ambassador : Advocate the brand, develop, influence, and inspire others; support respectful, supportive, team‑oriented work; identify roadblocks and assist in training. Comply with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards; use the Open Door Policy; execute business processes with integrity; prioritize work, collaborate with managers and coworkers, and adapt to change. Minimum Qualifications Be at least 18 years of age. Successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time frame if hired. Preferred Qualifications Food Safety Certification. Food Service Food Handler Certification. Primary Location 2950 Horseblock Rd, Medford, NY 11763‑2525, United States of America Compensation Hourly wage range: $19.00 to $27.00 (actual rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage).
