Job Description

Warehouse Receiving Lead – Edison, NJ

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Receiving Lead based in Edison, NJ who is actively involved on the warehouse floor and supports daily operations. This role requires a leader who can both manage and execute receiving activities in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and actively participate in daily warehouse receiving operations
Support and work alongside the team on the warehouse floor as needed
Oversee inbound receiving processes, including:
- Purchase order receiving
- Put-away activities
- Bin transfers
Ensure accuracy and efficiency in inventory movement and warehouse flow
Operate forklifts and assist with general warehouse operations as required
Foster a team-oriented environment and work effectively with a diverse workforce
Support overall warehouse performance in a high-volume distribution setting

Required Experience

Proven experience leading teams in a warehouse or distribution environment
Strong working knowledge of ERP and/or WMS systems
Hands-on experience with warehouse receiving and operational workflows
Forklift operation experience is required.
Comfortable working directly on the warehouse floor

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

Experience operating stand-up forklifts or reach trucks
Background in inventory management (training can be provided in this area)
