Overview Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Helena, Montana. Start date 07/05/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts, four days per week. Weekly pay range: $2,160 to $2,299. Hospital setting. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,160 – $2,299 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-hour day shifts, four days per week Start date: 07/05/2026 Setting: Hospital environment (acute care) Responsibilities Provide perioperative nursing care in the OR for orthopedic and multi-specialty procedures, including Total Joints, Fractures, Orthopedic Spine, Gynecology, Robotic, Urology, General, ENT, and Orthopedic cases Assist surgeons as circulating and/or scrub nurse; First Assist RNFA preferred; ensure accurate instrument counts and sterile technique Prepare and position patients, monitor intraoperative status, and support anesthesia team to maintain patient safety Manage OR equipment and supplies, maintain sterile fields, and coordinate room turnover between cases Document perioperative care in the EMR (Epic); communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff Be available for on-call rotations (2–3 12-hour shifts in a 6-week period) and adapt to the needs of the surgical schedule Requirements Active RN license in the applicable state or eligibility to obtain licensure as required 2+ years of OR experience required BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred Proficiency with Epic EMR OR competency across a broad range of procedures; orthopedic experience strongly preferred; ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-specialty setting Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN); ongoing professional development as required Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours: 40 per week 13-week travel assignment 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Housing assistance available Nationwide assignments #J-18808-Ljbffr
