Salary Range: $18.00 To $19.00 Hourly

• 1. Detailed sanitation and up-keep of the facility, ensuring that all processing equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized to established standards.
• 2. Maintain facility and surrounding area in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and recognized Food Safety Standards.
• 3. Communicate with production management to determine cleaning priorities.
• 4. Complete all necessary paperwork and reports as needed.
• 5. Assist supervisor or Quality Tech or others with safety, training and quality audits related to sanitation.
• 6. Removal of all trash and product/soil from plant, cleaning of floors, walls and ceilings.
• 7. Some janitorial work in restrooms and offices as needed.
• 8. Follow all Sanitation equipment, chemical and tool guidelines. Understand and correctly use chemicals safely and efficiently.
• 9. Reports food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
• 10. Maintains a safe and clean environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• 11. Promotes teamwork and effective relations among all contacts by setting positive examples.
• 12. Responsible for working safely and maintaining a safe work environment: attends required training, identifies and reports hazards; wears required PPE for position; and is accountable for self as well as co-worker safety.
• 13. Is familiar with and complies with SQF Food Safety standards and ensures all product produced meets assigned quality standards.
