Position Name:  Respiratory Therapist – RRT/CRT

Facility Name: TBA (Hospital based)

Shifts Available:  

• Nights (Rotating Weekends)
• Evenings (Rotating Weekends) 

 

Job Summary:

Knowledge of patient responses, side effects and proper dosages of medications used in respiratory care. Able to communicate effectively with Physicians, patients, managers and the publics. Ability to teach/instruct, assess and reassess others. Able to recognize and report abuse and neglect in patients. Knowledge of generally accepted practices in respiratory care as prescribed by the physician. Delivers, set-up, and maintains routine and non-routine therapies and equipment (i.e., oxygen, aerosol therapy, ventilators) utilized by Respiratory Therapy. Ability to perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gases.

 

Qualifications:

· 1yr min of RRT exp required (ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, Critical care unit) *  Would consider those with home care and/or long term care experience

· FL State Respiratory License

· NBRC – RRT/CRT

· Basic Cardiac Life Support(BLS)

· ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

· NRP - Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

· PALS - Pediatric Adv Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• 2-3 years: $29.89
• 4-5 years: $31.12
• 6-7 years: $32.36
• 9-10+ years: $33.59
• 16+ years: $36.95

SIGN ON : $25k for Both Evenings and Nights
