Sr. AI Engineer

Principle AI/ Backend Developers to join a newly formed Agentic AI Product Team focused on building next-generation automation and intelligent systems across network infrastructure.
This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable Python-based backend solutions supporting load balancing platforms, infrastructure automation, and AI-driven workflows. The ideal candidate brings a strong backend foundation combined with experience building or integrating LLM-powered and autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python (Django, Flask, or similar frameworks
Build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs to support internal and external service
Ensure code quality through standards, peer reviews, and best practices


Infrastructure & Automation
Develop automation solutions for load balancing and network infrastructure
Integrate backend systems with infrastructure tools and platforms (F5, DNS, cloud services)
• Build scripts and tools to reduce manual operations and improve efficiency
• Design distributed systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available
• Optimize system performance, latency, and throughput
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment
• Promote infrastructure-as-code and automation-first design principle

AI / Agentic Systems Development (Key Differentiator)
Design and implement AI-powered backend services leveraging LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Azure OpenAI)
Build and integrate agentic workflows for automation and decision-making use cases
Develop multi-agent orchestration frameworks to enable autonomous or semi-autonomous operations
Utilize frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or AutoGen to enable AI-driven pipelines
Partner with product and architecture teams to define AI-driven solutions aligned to enterprise strategy
Collaboration & Delivery
Work cross-functionally with Network, Platform, and Architecture teams
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing

Required Skills & Experience
- Required Qualifications
7+ years of backend development experience (adjustable for mid-level)
Strong Python expertise with frameworks such as Django or Flask
Deep understanding of distributed systems, networking, and load balancing concepts
Experience with REST API design and development
Experience with CI/CD tools and Linux-based environments
Hands-on experience with automation and scripting
AI / Automation Experience
Experience integrating LLMs into backend systems via APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.)
Understanding of agentic AI architectures and autonomous system design
Hands-on experience with AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen)
Experience designing multi-agent workflows for automation and decision-making use cases
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native architectures
Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
Message queues and streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL)
Monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana)
Network automation and APIs (F5, NGINX, etc.)
