Weymouth Swayze & Corroon is seeking a motivated and client‑experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, managing a book of business, and being the key connection between clients and insurance carriers. The primary focus of this position is to deliver exceptional client service, ensure smooth processing of renewals and new business, and help support agency growth. What You’ll Do: Build and maintain long‑lasting relationships with clients by providing excellent service and support. Manage renewals by gathering information, reviewing risk management needs, and delivering renewals/binders. Negotiate with carriers to secure competitive pricing and coverage. Quote, market, and sell commercial line policies. Prepare proposals and applications, submit them to carriers and clients, and obtain required signatures. Assist with billing, claims follow‑up, and resolution as needed. Review cancellations and terminations, taking timely and appropriate action. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all accounts. Actively seek referrals and identify opportunities to grow your book of business. Follow agency procedures, systems, and carrier guidelines. What We’re Looking For: Prior experience in commercial lines insurance. Knowledge of underwriting and rating procedures. Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to multitask, stay detail‑oriented, and work independently. Team player with a client‑first mindset.
