Senior Account Executive, BPO Public Sector Sales

Overview Join Genesys as Sr. Account Executive, BPO Public Sector Sales. Be a catalyst for our growth, engaging C‑suite customers across the public sector using a consultative approach. Responsibilities Increase net logos and win Cloud business by engaging prospective customers and developing deep understanding of their environment. Develop and execute strategic account plans. Communicate Genesys strategic vision and unique capabilities, connecting them to customer business needs. Leverage overlay expertise to support value realization. Identify and manage customer concerns or risk, guiding customers to the best fit offer. Facilitate smooth transition from pre‑commit to implementation. Negotiate win‑win financial solutions to close deals and strengthen future relationships. Maintain a vibrant pipeline, build new relationships and nurture existing ones. Advocate for upsell and cross‑sell opportunities with existing customers. Act as a brand ambassador for Genesys. Qualifications 8+ years of software sales experience; strong preference for Cloud sales. Experience with subscription sales and C‑suite engagement. Proven success in complex, long sales cycles with strategic focus. Track record of meeting or exceeding targets. BS or BA degree or equivalent work‑related experience. Ability to travel up to 50%.
