A confidential, Atlanta-based litigation practice is seeking a personal injury associate attorney to take ownership of an active docket of injury matters. This opportunity is ideal for a mid-level to senior attorney who values hands-on case responsibility, consistent client contact, and a high-volume environment supported by experienced staff. Both plaintiff-side and defense-side backgrounds will be considered based on demonstrated results. Plaintiff and defense experience both welcomed, depending on performance and outcomes. High-volume practice with meaningful client communication and decision-making. Opportunity to supervise and mentor paralegals and support staff while maintaining file momentum. THE ROLE Manage an active personal injury caseload of approximately 80 to 120 matters. Develop liability and damages strategy and drive resolution planning. Take and defend depositions and coordinate case development with medical providers and experts. Handle mediations and settlement negotiations; support trial preparation as needed. Maintain timely, professional communication with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel. Delegate effectively to support staff and help maintain productivity and quality across the docket. LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION Location: Atlanta, Georgia Schedule: Hybrid (in office 3 days per week) REQUIREMENTS Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Personal injury litigation experience with demonstrated case ownership (2+ years minimum; more experienced attorneys are strongly encouraged to apply). Proven results and a track record of success in personal injury matters. Ability to manage a high-volume docket while maintaining organization and responsiveness. Strong legal writing, negotiation, and client communication skills. Consistent, dependable work history and a collaborative approach. PREFERRED BACKGROUND Approximately 6+ years of personal injury experience. Trial experience (helpful, but secondary to results). Experience supervising or mentoring paralegals and support staff. Exposure to higher-value or more complex injury matters, including trucking, motor vehicle collisions, and negligence claims.
