Job Duties Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements be able to handle working in high humidity clean work areas load and unload materials and commodities maintain grounds and landscaping operate self propelled machinery repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures tilling soil transplanting weeding thinning pruning crops use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools work in extreme temperatures Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, irrigation equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, self-propelled machinery, tillage equipment, tractors The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: rice, soybeans Must speak and understand English Benefits Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range) Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities. Transport: See Addendum C Experience & Requirements Experience wanted: 1 months One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record Be able to lift up to 50 lbs Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker.
