Job Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team, as Waste Processing Laborer. The ideal candidate will responsible for operating solid waste Chem Clave equipment.

Job Description

• Monitor instrumentation including computer monitors and gauges to observe and track Chem Clave data.
• Add information to daily logs as required.
• Inspect, adjust, lubricate and clean internal and external parts of equipment.
• Drive waste processing truck to collect solid waste and recycle materials from various locations.
• Transport waste to Chem Clave facility and unload; return empty containers to assigned locations .
• Sort and process waste and recycle materials.
• Utilize compactors and shredders as required.
• Maintain truck, containers and container areas in clean condition.
• Maintain Chem Clave facility in clean condition.
• Sweep floors, use water hose, and other cleaning equipment as required.
• Utilize safety equipment and/or protective clothing as directed.
• Utilize forklift as required to process waste and recycled material.

Skills Required

• Operate box truck to deliver trash
• Operate Waste Processing truck to collect waste and recycle materials.
• Process waste and recycle materials using compactors and shredders.

Education/Training/Certifications

• Valid driver's license & MVR required
• Forklift certification ideal

Additional Requirements

• Shift hours/Days: 1:00 PM–9:30 PM
