About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of advancing health equity and well-being. The successful candidate will be responsible for external leadership, vision, and advocacy, serving as the most visible public voice and principal relationship builder across various sectors. This role demands a leader who can shape a clear, compelling vision, elevate the company's presence nationally, and engage in strategic and organizational leadership to ensure that the company's priorities remain responsive to the evolving political, fiscal, and social landscape. The CEO will also be tasked with fostering a high-performing, mission-aligned staff culture, and ensuring the company's grantmaking and program oversight are in line with its commitment to health equity. The ideal CEO for the company will have substantial senior executive experience in a complex, mission-driven institution, with a proven track record in managing significant budgets, executive staff, and multi-stakeholder governance structures. They must be adept at systems-level change, coalition building, and have a genuine understanding of how philanthropic capital can be deployed effectively. The role requires a leader who is authentic, trustworthy, and values-driven, with the ability to build and sustain relationships across diverse communities. A Bachelor's degree is required, along with at least 15 years of management and leadership experience, and a strong background in institutional finance and governance. The CEO should be a bold, collaborative visionary, with the humility to listen and the courage to act decisively in pursuit of the company's mission.
