Overview Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center in Norfolk, Virginia, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Vascular and Interventional Procedures Unit – PVI Endovascular Lab. Location & Shift Full‑time day shift (Monday–Friday 7:30 am to 5 pm). Weekend, holiday, and overnight call required. 30‑minute call response time. Calls scheduled every third weekend; additional weekend call Friday 5 pm, Saturday 24 h, Sunday 24 h. Responsibilities Provide hemodynamic monitoring during procedures. Administer moderate sedation. Assist interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient care. Assist in pre‑op and recovery areas of the Vascular & Interventional Center for safe transitions. Assess, admit, and round on patients; administer medications; communicate with families; overall patient care management. Qualifications Registered Nurse credential. Experience in critical care, emergency department, or PACU preferred. Strong autonomy and critical‑thinking skills. Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision plans.
