Medical Surgical (MS) Nurse Spokane, WA
This position involves providing comprehensive patient care on a Medical/Surgical floor at a healthcare facility with a 388-bed capacity and Level 3 Trauma Center designation. The role requires delivering high-quality nursing services in a fast-paced environment across various medical and surgical units.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (preferred), NIHSS (preferred).
• Education Requirements: Relevant nursing licensure.
• Degree Requirements: Nursing degree required.
• Location Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the specified state.
• Years of Experience: 0 years minimum.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week, starting from 11/30/2026 through 02/27/2027.
• Additional Information:
  • Candidates must complete and pass the telemetry competency prior to start.
  • The role involves caring for patients with conditions such as sepsis, COPD, DVT, AKI, CKD, and post-surgical recovery, among others.
  • Support on the unit includes CNAs, charge nurses, and health unit coordinators.
  • Orientation consists of one 12-hour shift on the home unit plus four hours on floating units.
  • No call or overtime is required; overtime may be available.
  • Holiday shifts expected 1-2 times per season.
  • Parking options include free and paid lots.
  • Scrubs are acceptable in any professional color or pattern.
  • Work environment includes electronic charting via EPIC and medication dispensing through Pyxis.
