About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Medical Technologist in Atlanta, Georgia, 30322!

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field as required by client.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.
• Laboratory licensure in appropriate specialty if required by state regulations.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• Experience performing diagnostic laboratory testing in an acute care hospital environment preferred.
• Experience on 12-hour overnight laboratory shifts preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in high-volume hospital laboratories.
• Familiarity with automated chemistry, hematology, and blood bank instruments preferred.

• Shift hours: 12-hour night shift schedule (NOC 12).
• Shift pattern: 3x12 schedule referenced in order notes.
• Facility type: Hospital assignment in Atlanta, GA.
