Resident Care Assistant

Resident Service AssistantPay Rate = $18.50 per HourPosition Summary:This position is responsible for supporting operational and administrative efforts as needed.Essential Functions:Mail and package handlingAccepting and logging all incoming mail, packages, and deliveries from various carriers like USPS, FedEx, and UPS.Notifying residents when packages or registered mail have arrived.Distributing mail and packages to the correct recipients or storing them in a secure package room.Researching and rerouting unidentified packages.Conduct regular audits of the package room to ensure inventory is accurate.Concierge and resident servicesValet resident and guest vehiclesGreeting and providing a friendly, welcoming presence to all residents, guests, and vendors.Monitoring lobby traffic and managing building access for visitors and contractors.Answering resident inquiries via phone, email, and in person.Coordinating with building management and maintenance teams to log and resolve resident requests.And other tasks assigned by the DirectorBuilding security and safetyConducting regular patrols of the building to ensure vehicle parking is accurateMonitoring surveillance cameras while covering for the receptionistEnsuring only authorized vehicles can access the building's parking lot reserved spaces.Reporting any suspicious activity or maintenance issues to the appropriate management.Handling keys and managing a sign-in/sign-out log for new residents.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements:Language Skills: Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.Driving Requirements: Does this job require the ability and license to drive an automobile?
