Role: Java Developer W/Scala exp.

Job Description:

Skills required

• Strong Scala Java development Skills with add on Testing expertise on Cucumber based framework for Regression and functional testing
• Expertise in writing safe concurrent code using Scala features and libraries eg. Akka or ZIO
• Knowledge of JVM memory models nonblocking data structures and performance profiling to achieve the low latency
• Familiarity with integrating Scala with frameworks like Apache Spark or Flink for largescale data processing and analysis within the settlement process
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases eg Cassandra MongoDB PostgreSQL
• Extensive domain background in markets specifically in post trade settlement and developing low latency high throughput settlement platforms
• Attention to details and extensive testing mindset in driving real time trading order management market data processing risk management and regulatory reporting
