The Senior Project Manager for Commercial Fire Alarm and Security Installs will oversee medium-sized project teams, typically consisting of 6-15 members, ensuring the successful delivery of installation projects for fire alarm and security systems. Reporting to Senior Management, this role requires frequent travel to job sites to maintain direct oversight and client engagement. The ideal candidate will combine strong project management skills with industry-specific knowledge to coordinate teams, manage budgets, and uphold safety and quality standards.

 

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule project activities to ensure timely completion
• Coordinate and lead project teams to achieve objectives
• Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders
• Manage project budgets and control costs
• Ensure quality standards and safety compliance are met
• Oversee vendor selection and manage external partnerships
• Assess and mitigate project risks
• Allocate resources efficiently to optimize team performance
• Travel frequently to job sites to monitor progress and resolve issues

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in fire alarm or security systems installation
• Strong skills in project management, budget management, and risk management
• Expertise in fire alarm and security systems installation, including access control and CCTV
• Proven ability in client communication, team leadership, and scheduling
• Technical knowledge of cable and fiber installation
• Effective problem-solving abilities in complex project environments
