Fire Suppression Technician

Vanguard Fire & Security Systems, Inc. is currently looking for an experienced Fire Suppression Technician with experience in testing and inspections of a variety of fire protection systems. Responsibilities and Duties Perform troubleshooting service, inspection, and repairs of fire sprinkler systems Read blueprints for existing pipe layout and select equipment accommodations to complete the job Communicate with customers to understand system deficiencies and provide repair recommendations Document inspections, repairs, and deficiencies Share job information for follow-up quotes, questions, or concerns Maintain a safe work environment and comply with the company’s safety protocols Respond to service calls and participate in an on-call rotation that may require after-hours or weekend availability Qualifications Previous experience in fire suppression and, optionally, fire alarm systems 1–3 years of customer service experience High School Diploma or GED required Trade school or apprenticeship preferred Excellent mechanical skills and ability to work from blueprints Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail in a physically demanding environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
