Position: Ultrasound Tech - South Portland, Maine
Schedule: 4x10s, 40 hours/week, no weekends
Setting: Clinical / Hospital

Details:

• Perform ultrasound exams as indicated
• Obtain patient history from physician and patient
• Review images with Radiologist
• Complete sonographer worksheets and documentation
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and preventative maintenance records
• Utilize electronic systems and basic troubleshooting
• Follow safety and ergonomic standards
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited AMA sonography program (or equivalent)
• RDMS / ARDMS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience
• Experience with GE equipment required
• Charting: Eclinical
• Strong attention to detail and independent judgment
• Ability to collaborate with radiologists, providers, and staff
