Workers Compensation Paralegal

We’re looking for a Workers’ Compensation Paralegal who is organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about supporting clients through the process from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Support attorneys with workers’ compensation cases from intake through resolution Review and summarize medical records, case documents, and client updates Draft correspondence and case-related documents for attorney review Request, track, and organize medical records, bills, and other documentation Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other parties involved in the case Coordinate and schedule hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings Prepare files and materials for hearings, mediations, and internal case reviews Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic case files Review forms and documents for accuracy and completeness before submission Assist with gathering case information and documenting key details Help track case progress, deadlines, and next steps to keep cases moving Accurately track time and case-related activity as needed Manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment Qualification Paralegal certificate or a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience Strong working knowledge of legal terminology and case processes Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe, and general internet research tools Experience with electronic document and case management systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong attention to detail and proofreading ability Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn and adopt new tools, including AI and workflow optimization systems Employment Type: Full-time Location: Moncks Corner, SC (fully on-site) Compensation : $50,000–$70,000 based on experience Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus PTO #J-18808-Ljbffr West Law Firm
