CNC Machine Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC and manual machining equipment to produce high-quality machined parts while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. The ideal candidate will have prior CNC machining experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual machines to produce parts according to specifications.
• Inspect parts throughout production using precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
• Perform quality checks and inspect every tenth part to ensure compliance with standards.
• Complete control sheets and quality documentation accurately.
• Deburr machined parts and remove all sharp edges.
• Identify and reject non-conforming products.
• Make machine offset adjustments as needed to maintain part quality.
• Monitor and maintain machine coolant and oil levels.
• Inspect cutting tools and inserts for wear and replace as needed.
• Operate multiple machines and manage workload efficiently throughout the shift.
• Communicate effectively with team members and incoming shifts.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
• Support 5S initiatives and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Assist in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of CNC machining experience preferred.
• Knowledge of tooling, machine jaws, and machining processes.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
• Ability to work any shift as required.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 55 pounds.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and industrial equipment.
