About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months in specialty within the past 3 years License: GA or compact license in hand Certifications: Rhythm identification test required Must-Have: Requires experience with peritoneal dialysis. Experience with insulin drip is necessary. Description: The assignment length is 13 weeks. Available start dates are every Monday. Scrubs must be navy blue. Travelers must be located outside a 50-mile radius. Top diagnoses and procedures include CHF, congenital heart issues, LVADs, angioplasty, dysrhythmias, shortness of breath, heart transplant, atrial fibrillation, cardiogenic shock, coronary artery disease, and chest pain. Top medications used include vasoactive drips such as amiodarone, dobutamine, cardizem, milrinone, lasix, bumex, heparin, and insulin. Candidates will be required to take a proctored rhythm identification test upon starting, with two attempts allowed. This test is not multiple choice.
