Job Description

An established distribution operation in Pooler, GA, is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join its second-shift warehouse team. In this role, you will load, unload, and move materials while ensuring proper weight distribution and safe handling. The ideal candidate has hands-on forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety. Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials according to weight specifications.

• Ensure proper weight distribution and secure placement of materials during loading.

• Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment or maintenance concerns.

• Scan, track, and record inventory movements to maintain accurate warehouse records.

• Follow warehouse safety procedures and collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous forklift operating experience, including loading materials by weight, required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

• Reliable transportation and availability to work Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.

• Forklift certification and previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.

The base pay rate for this position is $17 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
