Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for assigned clients to accurately determine their clinical needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals designed to utilize the client’s strengths and address areas of need.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress against treatment objectives, adjusting strategies as necessary to promote success.

• Complete all required documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards, while maintaining a thorough set of treatment records.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions based on assessed client needs, employing evidence-based interventions and creative therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on children and adolescents dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. With a person-centered approach, you will create a safe and supportive environment that allows young clients to express themselves and engage in the healing process.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• A minimum of three years of direct clinical experience in an outpatient setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.

• Ability to handle the physical and emotional demands of the role, ensuring personal resilience and professional integrity.

• Willingness to undergo a personal background investigation conducted by the State of California, ensuring safe and ethical practice.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with youth populations, particularly in therapeutic settings addressing mental health, trauma, or substance use challenges, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems theory, is advantageous.
