Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 3+ years of hospital-based MRI experience and ARRT MR certification for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

Adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, ER/trauma, and pediatric outpatient settings

Performs abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal MRI studies

Special imaging procedures include MRA, MRV, MRCP, diffusion imaging, gradient echo imaging, and image post-processing

Uses PACS and Toshiba MRI equipment

Evening and night shift options: 4x10-hour shifts (17:00-7:00) or 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:00)

38 hours guaranteed per week with 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts as needed

Weekend, call, and holiday coverage required as needed

Call requirement is rotational

No floating required

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital setting

ARRT MR and ARRT R certification required

BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)

ARMRIT certification preferred

Epic charting experience required

Skilled in preparation and/or administration of contrast media and starting peripheral IVs

Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE

Thoracic MRA and TMJ imaging with/without contrast experience preferred

Peripheral MRA (iliac, runoff) experience preferred

Abdominal MRV experience preferred

License required if applicable

Additional Information

May involve care for COVID-19 patients

Facility is tobacco and fragrance free

RTO capped at a maximum of 7 days for this contract

Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced pay rate

Travel pairs accepted, though matched schedules cannot be guaranteed
