Mobile Associate - Retail Sales

Job Overview Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They are passionate about the connected world and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. They immerse themselves in significant connections with our customers, building and deepening relationships. They build expertise in uncovering customers’ needs and educate, demonstrate and recommend device and service solutions. This learning role prepares them for the next level up as a Mobile Expert. New associates complete new employee training. Job Responsibilities Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world‑class customer experience and loyalty by helping customers continue where they left off in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care or in‑store; exploring individual needs and providing hands‑on demonstrations of the latest technology; side‑by‑side selling for personalized solutions beyond basic device and service plans; handling service and sales needs with composure, integrity and compassion. Skillfully use digital tools in interactions and onboarding to demonstrate T‑Mobile coverage, unlimited plans, train on the in‑store experience, new skills and processes, knowledge of systems and reference resources, and maximize shift time by learning about wireless innovation. Collaborate with T‑Mobile employees across channels, including business and customer service, to own the customer experience, resolve issues, handoff small‑business leads, support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment. Education and Work Experience High School Diploma or GED (Required) 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail environment preferred (Required) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Passionate customer advocate, enthusiastic and authentic when connecting with customers (Required) Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment (Required) Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, sharing ideas and resolving issues (Required) Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals (Required) Licenses and Certifications At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States Travel Travel Required: No DOT Regulated DOT Regulated Position: No Safety Sensitive Position: No Compensation Hourly Base Pay: $17.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. Upon completion they promote to Mobile Expert with an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year, varying with performance and full‑time status. All employees at T‑Mobile are guaranteed to earn $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives. All employees are eligible for an annual stock grant.
