Job Summary: The Upfit Technician position is responsible for completing consistent, quality installations. About Us: Parkway is locally owned and operated. Benefits Medical, Dental and Vision Life and Short‑Term Disability Continuous Improvement Training 401K with Match Paid Vacation Paid Holidays Employee Discounts on Parts, Services and Vehicles Opportunities for Growth Essential Duties Perform vehicle Up‑fitting Installation and removal of all equipment PPV Tahoes, Silverados, and other vehicles In‑car camera systems Storage boxes and Partitions Mobile data Terminals Mobile radios Vehicle repairs, retrofitting and upgrading Document all services rendered, and parts used on Service Ticket for all installations or removals done Maintain an orderly and clean working environment, keeping the installers shop organized Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner (service orders, work logs, timecards, etc.) Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area Qualifications Experience with Installation of Emergency Lighting; a PLUS, we will train once hired if you have no experience Ability to communicate well with others Ability to work on and see colored small objects Good hearing and color vision Be at work station ready to work at scheduled time Ability to commute/relocate Tomball, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Schedule 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed License/Certification Manufacturer Training Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications Valid Driver’s License Parkway Family Auto is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
