Facade Estimator – Curtain Wall, Windows & Glazing

Dynamic Windows System Inc. is a facade and glazing contractor serving commercial and residential construction projects throughout New York and New Jersey. We specialize in curtain wall, window wall, storefront, punch windows, aluminum panels, architectural glazing, and related facade systems.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Facade Estimator to join our team in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents for facade and glazing projects.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for curtain wall, window wall, storefront, punch windows, aluminum panels, and related systems.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates covering materials, glass, fabrication, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare competitive bid proposals with clearly defined scope, inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
• Identify scope gaps, project risks, and value engineering opportunities.
• Maintain bid schedules, deadlines, and estimating records.
• Coordinate with project managers and management throughout the bidding process.
• Assist with change order pricing, project handoffs, and post-bid scope reviews.
• Review actual project costs against estimates to improve future pricing accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of estimating experience in facade construction, commercial glazing, curtain wall, or window installation.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Experience preparing detailed material takeoffs, labor estimates, and complete project bids.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with stick-built and unitized curtain wall systems.
• Knowledge of window wall, punch windows, aluminum panels, and storefront systems.
• Familiarity with NYC and NJ construction markets, including union and prevailing wage labor pricing.
• Experience with WinBid Pro, PartnerPak, or similar estimating software.
• Familiarity with aluminum system manufacturers, glass suppliers, and fabrication costs.
• Background in project management, drafting, or facade installation.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $90,000–$130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
• Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays.
• Full-time, on-site position in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
