Happy to Help Caregiving is looking for a versatile Field Support Specialist (CNA/Caregiver) to be a cornerstone of our care team. If you are a highly adaptable professional who wants to make a high-impact difference, this role is designed for you.

Happy to Help Caregiving provides compassionate, non-medical in-home care that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they know best: home. We support families through companionship, personal care, respite care, and veteran-focused services, always with an emphasis on dignity, respect, and dependable support. Our goal is to provide care that feels personal, professional, and responsive to each client's unique needs, preferences, and daily routines.

The Role at a Glance:

• Unique Compensation: Enjoy a hybrid on-call balance-get paid for remote standby periods while remaining ready to deploy for hands-on client support.
• Guaranteed Pay: 25 hours guaranteed per week. With additional hours when covering required shifts after 1:00 PM, or shifts that run past 1:00 PM.
• Core Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Must be ready to arrive promptly at 8:00 AM for first assignments, with the flexibility to work past 5:00 PM to ensure continuity of care.
• Service Area: Operating within a 40-mile radius of our Morgantown office.

Schedule & Compensation

• Required Availability: This position operates Monday through Friday, with core hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Employees are required to be on-site at their first assigned location within the designated service radius promptly at 8:00 AM if needed. Due to the nature of client care, shifts may occasionally extend beyond 5:00 PM; flexibility and the ability to work these extended hours are mandatory requirements of the role.
• Guaranteed Base Pay: You will receive guaranteed compensation for the 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM window each workday, regardless of field deployment.
• (But MUST stay role-ready)
• Additional Earning Potential: Any active field work performed outside of the guaranteed morning block will be compensated at your standard hourly rate. Also, you may choose to pick up weekend shifts as well. (At your choice)
• Pay Frequency: Wages are disbursed on a weekly basis, with payments issued every Friday.
• Service Territory: This role requires localized travel during scheduled shifts, encompassing up to a 40-mile radius from our main office.

Areas of service:
Harrison & Marion Counties
Dispatch Protocol:

• Respond to dispatch notifications within Harrison and Marion counties within 5 minutes.
• Depart for the client's home within 15 minutes of being notified of assignment.
• Role Readiness & Standby Duties
• Maintain "Role Readiness" at all times during shift hours:
• Keep your phone audible and charged.
• Ensure your vehicle is fueled and reliable.
• Keep caregiving supplies fully stocked and ready to go

Requirements:

• CNA certification preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Availability and flexibility to accept shifts on short notice.
