Host | The Copperfield Starting at $12.00 per hour, plus tips! The Copperfield is looking for a friendly, reliable, and outgoing Host to join our team! As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll help create a welcoming experience while keeping seating, reservations, and guest flow running smoothly. No restaurant experience? No problem! We’re happy to train the right person. Availability Requirements Ability to work morning shifts, including shifts beginning as early as 7:00 a.m. Weekend availability is required Morning, afternoon, and weekend availability preferred Why Join The Copperfield? Starting pay of $12.00 per hour, plus tips Flexible scheduling Work in a busy, popular neighborhood restaurant Enjoy employee dining discounts Join a welcoming, team-oriented environment where guests and employees can come as they are What You’ll Do Welcome and greet guests with a warm, professional, and friendly attitude Manage seating, reservations, waitlists, and guest flow during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service Answer phone calls and assist guests with questions and placing takeout orders Provide support in our Grab-and-Go Market Keep the host stand, entrance, Gran-and-Go Market, and guest areas clean, organized, and inviting What We’re Looking For A friendly, upbeat personality and genuine enjoyment of working with people Strong communication and customer service skills A team-first attitude and willingness to help where needed Excellent punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to stay organized and work well in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements This position requires standing and walking for approximately 5–7 hours per shift and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
