What You’ll Do As Branch Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Red Lodge Branch. You'll lead a dynamic team, cultivate a member-focused culture, and ensure Altana continues to be a trusted financial partner in the community. Your key responsibilities will include: Lead, coach, and develop branch team members to deliver exceptional member service Supervise teller operations, ensuring efficient, accurate, and friendly service at the front line Monitor and manage daily cash operations, including vault balancing, drawer audits, and ensuring compliance with cash handling policies Provide consumer lending services to our members, including loan interviews, processing, and approvals within authority Ensure branch compliance with all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Maintain branch security and risk management, including opening/closing procedures and safety protocols Foster a positive, productive work environment that supports collaboration, accountability, and individual growth Handle escalated member concerns or complex transactions with professionalism and care Build and maintain strong relationships with members, supporting their long-term financial goals Actively participate in community engagement and networking opportunities to promote Altana’s presence Promote Altana’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values in every interaction What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a proactive and people-focused leader with strong knowledge of consumer lending and financial services. Our ideal candidate will have: Three to five years of consumer lending experience preferred Three to five years in a leadership or management role, preferably in the financial industry Strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements Proven ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams Knowledge of branch operations, teller duties, and cash handling procedures Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills A member-first mindset and a passion for helping others achieve financial success Why You'll Love Working Here At Altana, you're joining more than an organization.
