Financial Advisor

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Financial Advisor to join our established investment advisory firm located in Carlsbad, California. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals and will possess a strong understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and market trends. As a Financial Advisor, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining client relationships, providing expert financial advice, and contributing to the growth of our firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Consultation: Conduct comprehensive meetings with clients to assess their financial needs, goals, and risk tolerance. Analyze clients' financial situations and gather relevant information to create tailored financial plans.
• Financial Planning: Develop and implement customized financial strategies that align with clients' short-term and long-term objectives. Recommend suitable investment products, insurance solutions, retirement plans, and estate planning options.
• Investment Management: Monitor clients' investment portfolios, providing insights and recommendations for adjustments as needed. Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and emerging investment opportunities.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients to enhance client retention and satisfaction. Provide ongoing support, including regular portfolio reviews and performance updates.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry standards, maintaining the highest level of integrity. Prepare and present comprehensive reports on clients' financial performance and progress toward their goals.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base. Participate in networking events and marketing initiatives to attract potential clients.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on financial products, market developments, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice. Pursue relevant certifications and professional development opportunities.

Note: This role is not solely focused on cold lead generation; you will also have access to an established book of business to support your client outreach and sales efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• Series 65 license preferred; additional relevant certifications such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are a plus.
• Proven experience as a financial advisor or in a related financial services role.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial planning software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Work Environment

Compensation

• Salary base pay range of $80,000 - $100,000, plus commissions, bonuses, and benefits.
